Milan lead by three points after beating Torino

Milan, Oct 27 (AP) AC Milan struggled again but a 1-0 win over Torino took it to the top of the Italian Football League Serie A with a clear three-point lead.

Olivier Girod scored the only goal of the match in the 14th minute of the game but it was enough to give Milan three points.

Milan now have 28 points from 10 matches and are ahead of second-ranked team Napoli (25 points from nine matches). Napoli will take on Bologna on Thursday.

In another match, Salernitana beat Venezia, playing with 10 players, 2-1 while Spezia and Genoa ended in a 1-1 draw.
