In this sequence, Rahane bowled 6,4,4,4,4,1 consecutively in the bowling of Arshad Khan who bowled the 4th over of the innings. Piyush Chawla dismissed Rahane who became dangerous. But.. the match was already in the hands of Chennai. Shivam Dube (28: 2×4 in 26 balls, 1×6) who came after Rahane’s dismissal played huge shots. In the end, Ambati Rayudu (20 not out: 3×4 in 16 balls) completed the Chennai victory with consecutive boundaries at 159/3. Among the Mumbai bowlers, Behrendraff, Piyush Chawla and Kumar Karthikeya took wickets.

Earlier in the Mumbai team, openers Rohit Sharma (21: 3×4 in 13 balls, 1×6) and Ishan Kishan (32: 5×4 in 21 balls) did not look good. But.. the real problem started after the out of these two, Cameron Green (12) and Suryakumar Yadav (1) failed in the second match in a row. But..Telugu cricketer Tilak Verma (22: 2×4 in 18 balls, 1×6).. In the end, Tim David (31: 1×4 in 22 balls, 2×6) and Hrithik Shuken (18 not out: 3×4 in 13 balls) batted, Mumbai team managed to score 157 runs. While Jadeja took three wickets in the Chennai team, Tushar Deshpande, Mitchell Santner took two wickets each and Magala took one wicket.
