Maharashtra defeated Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu defeated Telangana

Kozhikode, Nov 29 (PTI) Former India junior Karen Pais’ hat-trick helped Maharashtra beat Arunachal Pradesh 6-0 in a Group E league match of the AIFF Senior Women’s National Football Championship here on Monday.

Apart from Karen, Valencia DeMello scored two goals for Maharashtra while Trupti Deep scored one goal.

Tamil Nadu thrashed Telangana 20-0 with Sandhya’s eight goals while Himachal Pradesh beat Bihar 3-2.

Jharkhand beat Karnataka 1-0 while Delhi and Goa were tied 1-1.

Sikkim beat Jammu and Kashmir 5-0 while Assam beat Rajasthan 7-0. Punjab were held to a goalless draw by the Indian Football Association.
