LSG Vs KKR: Rinku-Naren’s stormy partnership hit Dekock’s century, Lucknow got the victory on the last ball

Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants: Kolkata Knight Riders faced the team of Lucknow Super Giants in the 66th match of IPL 2022. In this thrilling match, Lucknow defeated Kolkata by 2 runs.  Chasing a huge score of 211 runs, Kolkata’s team could score only 208 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. After winning this match, Lucknow has made it to the playoffs. At the same time, KKR has been out of this season. 

At the same time, KKR had to score 21 runs in the last over. During this, Rinku Singh hit a four on the first ball, a six on the second ball and a six on the third ball and brought KKR closer to victory. He scored 2 runs on the fourth ball of this over. However, on the last two balls, Stoinis dismissed Rinku Singh and Umesh Yadav to give the team a thrilling victory by 2 runs. In this match for Lucknow, Mohsin Khan has taken 3 wickets for 20 runs. KKR’s batsman showed strength

Abhijit Tomar, who was debuting after his dismissal, also became a victim of Mohsin Khan by making 4. Nitish Rana and Shreyas Iyer took over the team after 2 wickets fell. During this, Captain Iyer played an innings of 50 runs in 29 balls. However, he could not take his innings forward and became a victim of Stoinis by scoring 50 runs. After his dismissal, Sam Billings also could not stay for long and was stumped by Ravi Bishnoi after scoring 36 runs. KKR had high expectations from their star player Russell in this match but he too got out after scoring 5 runs in 11 balls. 

After his dismissal, Rinku Singh and Naren scored the team carried forward. During this, both scored fast runs. During this, both shared a partnership of 58 runs. During this, Rinku Singh and Naren tried to get KKR to win. During this, Rinku Singh played an innings of 40 runs in 15 balls. He hit two fours and 4 sixes during this innings. However, Umesh Yadav, who came after Rinku’s dismissal in the last over, could not score 3 runs on the last ball and got out. After which KKR had to face defeat by 2 runs in this match. KKR is out of IPL after losing this match.
