Team India on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, the visiting Kiwi players will try their hand at the nets on Tuesday morning and Wednesday evening.

hard work for the pitch
For three days last week, the ground staff had to work hard amidst clouds and drizzle. The pitch was covered on Monday after scorching sun. According to curator Shiv Kumar, the covers are being used to prevent the wicket from drying out fast in the morning and evening.

Fans are not buying tickets
The enthusiasm of the Kanpuris for this match seems to be weak. About 20-22 thousand tickets are to be sold for every day, but till now barely even 10 percent of the season tickets have been sold. The UP Cricket Association expects that people will buy more tickets with the opening of daily ticket sales from Tuesday. Two counters have been set up outside the Green Park Stadium to sell low-rate tickets, but very few people were seen buying tickets.

Then the field was packed
India played the historic 500th Test match against New Zealand in 2016. Team India won this memorable match. The important thing was that a large number of fans were present in the stadium on all five days of the match. Many people were shocked to see such a large number of spectators in the Test match, but this time there is less interest in the audience for an international match being held after a long gap.
