AB de Villiers of South Africa and Chris Gayle of West Indies have played cricket for many years for RCB. Because of this, this franchise is going to honor both these former players with the title of RCB Hall of Fame. Apart from this, the jersey number of both these players will be retired in their honor in the RCB event to be held on March 26. Let us tell you that AB Deliers’ jersey number is 17 and Chris Gayle’s is 333. In such a situation, RCB will retire jersey number-17 and 333 in honor of de Villiers and Gayle.
New jersey of RCB to be launched
According to the report of TOI, apart from the above mentioned two works, one more work will be done in the event to be held on March 26. These two former RCB players AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle are also going to launch RCB’s new jersey for IPL 2023. Talking about the recent performance of RCB, this team has performed well in the last three IPL seasons. Although, this team has not been able to reach the IPL final, but has been qualifying for the playoffs for the last three consecutive seasons.
In IPL 2022, Faf du Plessis took over the captaincy of RCB for the first time and the team traveled till Qualifier-2. Virat Kohli is also in excellent form this year and Mohammad Siraj is also doing wonders in bowling. Apart from these, many foreign players of RCB are also running in good form.
