What is the Unfair Movement Rule?

During the match, if a fielder or wicketkeeper tries to bluff the batsman while the ball is being thrown, then the umpire will declare that ball as dead ball. Apart from this, the umpire will also give 5 runs as penalty to the batting team. The implementation of this rule will also crack down on fake fielding. Unfair movement rule has been implemented in IPL 2023.
