Ben Stokes Leaves CSK Camp: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won their last league match against Delhi Capitals (DC) by a stunning 77 runs on 20 May. With this victory, Chennai also made its place in the playoffs with 17 points. Now the team will take on the field against Gujarat Titans on May 23 in the first qualifier match. Chennai has got a big blow before the playoffs in the form of Ben Stokes.
England Test team captain Ben Stokes has to captain the team in the only Test match starting from June 1 between England and Ireland. Stokes decided to go back to prepare for this Test match and the Ashes series starting after it. Chennai will not miss Ben Stokes much
With Ben Stokes returning home, Chennai Super Kings will not miss him much. The Chennai team has come to the field without any change in the last 4 league stage matches. Now in Qualifier-1 also, there is little hope that CSK will make any changes in the team. The first qualifier match of this season of IPL will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
