IPL 2023 Auction Date: Franchises to change IPL mini auction date- BCCI refused!

IPL 2023 Auction Date:  Preparations for next year’s IPL are in full swing. The respective franchises have already submitted the list of players that they have attached and released to the BCCI.  The mini auction for the IPL 2023 edition will be held on December 23. But some franchisees have requested the board to change this date to Christmas. Even so, there are reports that the board is not going to change the dates of the auction.

It seems that a senior BCCI official has spoken on this. Some franchisees have asked to change the auction date to celebrate the Christmas holidays. We can understand their request. But there is no possibility to change the date. Because there are many equations in it. Changing the date should change everything. As there is no such situation, the mini auction will be held at that time. As he said.

December 25 is the Christmas festival. So the members of most of the franchises are celebrating the festival. Changing the date will allow more people to participate in the auction on behalf of the franchisees. That is why BCCI requested to change the date. There are reports that BCCI has rejected it. But there is no official information on this.

Interesting mini auction

This time the mini auction is going to be interesting. Some star players are going to be auctioned. Foreign players like Kane Williamson, Ben Stokes, Alex Hales, Adil Rashid, Cameron Green are available for auction. Similarly, Indian players who have excelled in domestic tournaments are likely to command a good price. All the franchises combined have a total of 163 players attached to them. 85 people were released.

Franchises are reportedly set to request BCCI to reschedule the #IPLAuction which is currently scheduled for December 23. #IPL2023https://t.co/M5sI2ZPOYD
