IPL 2022: Chahal leads the race for Purple Cap, getting tough competition from RCB’s Vanindu

IPL 2022 Purple Cap: In this season of IPL, Rajasthan Royals bowler Yuzvendra Chahal remains on top in terms of taking wickets. He has a purple cap. However, now RCB’s Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has come very close to Chahal in the race for the Purple Cap. He is just two wickets behind Chahal.

Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has bowled 48 overs in 12 matches so far this season. In this, he has given runs per over at an average of 7.54 and has taken 23 wickets with a bowling average of 15.73. That is, after spending every 15 runs on an average, Yuzvendra has definitely got a wicket. On the other hand, Vanindu is in second place with 21 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav, Kagiso Rabada and T Natarajan are also included in this purple cap race.
