Ashwin became the third-highest (418)* wicket-taker for India in Test matches as soon as Latham was dismissed. Ashwin has done this feat in his 80th match. In this case, Ashwin has left behind India’s legendary off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.
Harbhajan Singh has a total of 417 wickets in Test cricket. At the same time, former veteran Anil Kumble is in the first place in the matter of taking the most wickets for India in this format. He has taken a total of 619 wickets from red ball cricket for Team India.
