IND vs LEI 1st Day: Indian batsmen piled up in front of 21-year-old English county bowler, KS Bharat saved the shame

India vs Leicestershire: The return of the Indian team in the field after three months with the red ball was not good. Before playing the Test match against England, the batting of the Indian team, playing a practice match against Leicestershire, was exposed on the first day itself. India’s batting line-up, said to be strong, was pitted against a 21-year-old county bowler.

Half the team returned to the pavilion for 81 runs

After this, the sequence of falling wickets continued from one end and KS Bharat (70) remained frozen at the other end. Even till the end of the day’s play, Bharat was standing at the crease. On the first day, India scored 246 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Roman Walker
Leicestershire’s young fast bowler Roman Walker dominated the whole day. He sent a total of 5 batsmen of India including Rohit, Virat to the pavilion. Walker took 5 wickets for 24 runs in his 11 overs. Apart from him, Will Davis got 2 and famous Krishna got 1 wicket.
