In such a situation, the team management may now decide to replace him in the first Test match with Suryakumar Yadav in the middle order. . Suryakumar Yadav’s destructive batting in the T20 format has been the talk of the town in the past year. After that, many cricket experts and former cricketers argued that he should be given a chance in the Test format as well.

Suryakumar Yadav played in two matches this Ranji season. In that he scored a total of 233 runs in three innings at an average of 74.33. Suryakumar Yadav played a total of 79 first class matches. In this he scored 5549 runs at an average of 44.75. There are also 14 centuries.

Suryakumar Yadav rose to No. 1 in the shorter format within a year of his international career. He is scoring huge runs with innovative shots that are only possible for him. Not only the fans but the whole world is amazed by his feats at the crease. Surya, who has established himself as an Indian 360 degree player by hitting shots from all corners of the field, exploded in the recently concluded third T20 against Sri Lanka. Suryakumar said that he is not playing any new shots. He said that in the T20 format, sometimes you have to play shots depending on the bowler and the ball.  ‘In this format, we will play with some shots in advance. But some times it is necessary to adjust and hit shots from time to time. I will turn the field in my favor and hit the shots.’ said.
