IND vs AUS: Ahead of the Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia from February 9, the Australian team has a big problem. An important player in the team, Cameron Green is yet to fully recover from his finger injury. Due to this it is very difficult for him to play the Nagpur Test match. Cameron Green has undergone surgery after injuring his finger and it will take some time for him to be fully fit.

The Australian team is currently practicing at the Aluru Cricket Ground near Bangalore where Cameron Green has started batting practice in the nets. But it will take some more time for him to bowl. Australia’s captain Pat Cummins also said that he has absolutely nothing to say about Green’s performance in their first Test match. . Next week is very important for all of us. I think this type of injury heals quickly. We hope it will improve a lot by next week.’ He said.

Mitchell Starc, one of the most dangerous fast bowlers in world cricket at the moment, has already confirmed that he will miss the first Test match of the series against India. In fact, Mitchell Starc is still not fully recovered from his left finger injury. It can be considered as a big blow for the Australian team in such circumstances.

The series of four matches will be held between the two teams. While the first match of this Test series will be held on 9th, the second match will be held from 17th to 21st February in New Delhi. This is a very important series for the Indian team if they want to reach the final of the World Test Championship. Must win for sure.

On the other hand, there is good news for Team India ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India’s paceman Jasprit Bumrah will return to the team. Bumrah, who was rehabilitated at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, is reported to have recovered. He also started bowling. He will soon be a part of the Test team. But Bumrah will be available only for the last two Tests. 

The India-Australia Test series will start from February 9. The third Test will be held at the Dharamshala venue from March 1. Yes. Bumrah started bowling in the nets. Now he is fit. Everything is fine now.’ said an NCA official. 

Bumrah complained of a back injury after the England tour. After that he missed West Indies tour and Asia Cup 2022. He was selected for the series against Australia after being cleared by the NCA. However, in the middle of the match, he suffered a back injury. So he missed the T20 World Cup. After almost 5 months of rehabilitation, he was selected for the latest series against Sri Lanka.. he was removed from the team again. So he went to NCA again.
