Border-Gavaskar Trophy: A series of 4 Test matches will be played between India and Australia. The first match of this series will be played in Nagpur from 9 February. What is the special plan of the Australian team?
According to Alex Carey, the Australian team is making special preparations to play reverse swing in India on a torn pitch. He said that along with spin, the Australia team is also preparing for this. When we went on the Pakistan tour, we had prepared for spin, but there we had to face reverse swing. He further said that Australia has experienced batsmen and they can tackle this challenge well. Apart from this, it is believed that the Pat Cummins-led Indian team will field 4 spin bowlers in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India.
First Test to be played in Nagpur
Significantly, the Test series will start between India and Australia from 9 February. The first match will be played at Vidarbha Stadium in Nagpur. Before this, the players of Team India have started practice. The Indian team, captained by Rohit Sharma, has given a chance to experienced players as well as young players for this series. At the same time, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is returning to Team India after a long time. He was walking out of the team due to injury. But after getting fit, he returned to the field. Jadeja can get a place in the playing XI of the match to be played in Nagpur.
