When will Ishan Kishan debut

Talking about Ishan Kishan’s Test debut, before the start of the Ahmedabad match, many cricket experts believed that Ishan Kishan might get a chance to play the first Test match of his career in the last Test match of the series. He was projected to replace KS Bharat as wicketkeeper, as Bharat has neither been able to bat well nor keep wickets in the first three matches.

Even at the beginning of the fourth Test match, KS Bharat left an easy catch of Travis Head off Umesh Yadav, after which the fans started trolling him on social media and on the other hand cricket experts also started advocating for Ishan Kishan. However, when captain Rohit Sharma was asked about Ishan Kishan’s debut before the Ahmedabad Test match, he said that whenever he (Ishan) gets a chance, he will get it. It will not happen that we will make him sit by giving him a chance in just one or two matches. That would not be okay.

In the ongoing fourth i.e. Ahmedabad Test match between India and Australia, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. By the end of the first day’s play, he scored 255 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. Australia opener Usman Khawaja is unbeaten at the crease after scoring 104 runs in 251 balls and Cameron Green is unbeaten on 49 runs in 64 balls.
