Mahedi Hasan reached the crease to support Mohammad Naeem. But after two overs i.e. in the fifth over itself, he was piled up in front of the agility of Fayaz Butt.

Fayaz Butt, bowling his first over, bowled the third ball around the off-stump. Mahedi could not make time in trying to hit a big shot on this fast-paced length ball. The ball was in the air, but in his follow through, Fayaz jumped to the left side and took a fine catch. Due to this Superman catch, Mehdi could not even open the account. In his quota of four overs, Fayaz took three wickets for just 30 runs.

Fayaz Butt, 28, born in 1993, played for Pakistan in the 2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. The pacer, who idolized Imran Khan and Brett Lee, later left Pakistan and started playing cricket for Oman. In August 2018, he was included in Oman’s squad for the Asia Cup Qualifier tournament. In 2019, he made his T20 International debut for Oman against Ireland.
