CSK: ‘It just didn’t happen’… CSK’s story: Don’t let it happen: Pray Akhtar

The 15th season of IPL is currently underway. The reigning champions Chennai Super Kings have suffered a series of defeats and remain 9th in the points table.

Just days before the start of this season, Ravindra Jadeja, who took over as CSK captain, had only 2 wins in the first 8 matches. He also went badly batted, bowled and fielded and went out to form.

Jadeja Deviation:

Jadeja resigned as captain as his condition was considered to be worse if he continued as captain. The captaincy went back to Dhoni. CSK, led by Dhoni, lost 2 of the first 3 matches. Even that one defeat was by 12 runs. Following this, CSK suffered a crushing defeat against Mumbai Indians and were eliminated from the play-off race.

If Dhoni had already captained the CSK team, he would have definitely advanced to the play-off round. Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, who is currently interviewing a newspaper, spoke about CSK activities.

Interview with Akhtar:

“I think the Chennai team management is not active now. Soon they will be back next season with a new approach. Because why was Jadeja given the captaincy this season? It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

He further said, “Therefore, the Chennai team must retain the required players to avoid a decline next year. And wicketkeeper Dhoni has always been an asset. If he is on the team next year he can definitely continue as captain of his choice. Because under his guidance, the Chennai team has played very well, ”he said.

Dhoni is CSK’s asset and CSK’s situation will go into a state of disarray if he retires. Akhtar is believed to have hinted that he should retire after building the team.
