Mumbai: Andhra Pradesh won by six wickets in the Group-E match on the basis of the bowlers’ brilliant performance, stopping the progressing Kerala low score, while in another match Puducherry beat the home team Mumbai. Kerala, who won their opening three matches, could only manage 112 runs for four wickets in 20 overs against the tight bowling of Andhra in the match played at BKC Maidan. Apart from Sachin Baby (51 not out off 34 balls), no Kerala batsman could play openly. Andhra registered their first win in the tournament by scoring 113 for four in 17.1 overs thanks to the brilliant innings of Ashwini Hebbar (48) and captain Ambati Rayudu (38 not out).
In the other group match played at the Wankhede Stadium, Puducherry won the match by six wickets after taking the Mumbai innings to 94, thanks to the superb bowling of Santa Murthy (five wickets for 20 runs). Puducherry reached the target of four wickets in 19 overs thanks to the innings of opener S Karthik (26) and wicketkeeper Sheldon Jackson (24 not out). This is Mumbai’s fourth consecutive defeat in four matches.
Meghalaya’s stunning win by 9 wickets

Nagaland beat Mizoram by 77 runs
Chennai: Nagaland defeated Mizoram by 77 runs in a plate group match on the strength of their batsmen and bowlers. This is Nagaland’s third consecutive win in four matches and the team is third in the plate group with 14 points. Mizoram has suffered its fourth consecutive defeat in four matches. Nagaland batting first scored 178 runs for six wickets. The Mizoram team was allotted for 101 runs in 19.1 overs in response to the target of 179. Lalamanguia scored 39 and captain KB Pawan scored 25 runs for the team.
Bihar registered fourth consecutive win
Chennai: Bihar routed Manipur by nine wickets to register a fourth consecutive win. Bihar captain Ashutosh Aman won the toss and decided to field and his bowlers allowed Manipur to score 105 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Rex Rajkumar (29 runs) scored the most runs for Manipur. Medium speed bowler Amod Yadav took four wickets for 17 runs for Bihar. Chasing this target, Bihar won in 17.1 overs, with opener Shashim Rathore scoring an unbeaten 60 runs (40 balls, seven fours and two sixes) for the second wicket with Babul Kumar (31 not out).
