Sydney Test Day2: Steve Smith Century .. Both sessions are in India

The second day of the third Test between India and Australia in Sydney ended on a high note. Australia continued the first innings with an overnight score of 166/2 on Friday and were all out for 338. Steve Smith (16×4 off 131: 226 balls) scored a century while Marcus Labushen (11×4 off 91: 196 balls) played a valuable innings. India then started the first innings with a score of 96/2 by the end of the day. At the crease were captain Ajinkya Rahane (5 off 40 balls) and Chateshwar Pujara (9 off 53 balls). TeamIndia was still 242 runs behind Australia in the first innings. Rohit Sharma (3×4, 1×6 off 26:77 balls) and Shubhaman Gill (8×4 off 50:101 balls) opened the innings with a 70-run partnership for the first wicket. Competing in the beginning, the pair hit the boundaries .. with good shots. But .. Rohit Sharma was out at team score 70 .. Shortly afterwards Shubhman Gill who scored a half century was immediately dismissed. With that, India got into trouble with 85/2. Chateshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, who came in after the openers took wickets in 15 overs, batted defensively. On the other hand, the Australian bowlers also bowled consistently with line and length .. The score board slowed down. How much is that ..?
