MI vs DC: Mumbai Target 157 in IPL 2020 final

Opposing Delhi Capitals set a 157-run target for Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2020 final. Captain Shreyas Iyer (65 not out: 50 off 6×4, 2×6 off 50 balls) and hitter Rishabh Pant (56:38 off 4×4, 3×6) hit half-centuries as Delhi Capitals batted first and scored 156 for seven. Among Mumbai bowlers, Trent Boult took three wickets while Coulter took two wickets for Nile and one for Jayant Yadav. Kagiso Rabada ran for the last ball.

Delhi Captains captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bat. With that .. Marcus Steinis (0), who started the Delhi innings with Shikhar Dhawan (3×4 off 15:13 balls), was out with the first ball. Ajinkya Rahane (2), who came in later, also took the wicket. Shortly afterwards, Shikhar Dhawan was also bowled by spinner Jayant Yadav as Delhi struggled to 22/3.

Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant, who were at the crease at this stage, played slowly at first and then changed gears. Rishabh Pant hit two sixes in an over by spinner Krunal Pandya. This is the first time the Delhi team has played in the IPL final. This is the sixth time that the Mumbai team has played in the final. The Mumbai team lost to Chennai in the 2010 final and went on to win the title in the 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019 seasons.
