Head coach of Delhi Capitals Ricky Ponting (Ricky Ponting) warned the Mumbai Indians not to take his team lightly in the final on Tuesday as his best is yet to come.
Four-time champions Mumbai Indians will have a psychological edge in the final against Delhi Capitals, who will play the final for the first time.
Apart from this, the Mumbai team has won the last three encounters during the season. Ponting said on Monday, “Now we are happy to see the performance behind, it has been a good season but we are here to win the IPL and we will do our best.”
He said, ‘We started well but we failed a little towards the end. But the players played two very good matches out of three and hopefully we can show our best game in the final.
Ricky Ponting said, “It doesn’t matter that we lost the matches.” Each team won a few matches, lost a few but all our losses were in the group and it was very difficult to change the rhythm but the players did it and we are now in the final and I think our best cricket is yet to come.
