Rohit Sharma (Rohit Sharma) Is likely to be ruled out of the third match in a row due to injury, with Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) eyeing their place in the Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs. Whichever team wins on Wednesday will secure a place in the playoffs.

Rohit’s fitness has become a topic of discussion before this match. He did not play the last two matches due to a hamstring injury. The captain of the Mumbai Indians practiced at the nets on Monday. Incidentally, he was not picked in the squad for the tour of Australia on the same day. No clear statement has been issued by Mumbai Indians or the Cricket Board of India (BCCI) about his fitness. Quinton de Kock (374 runs) had failed against Rajasthan and would be desperate to make an impact. Kishan (298 runs) and Suryakumar Yadav (283 runs) are his other batsmen who have made significant contributions so far. Hardik Pandya showed his ability to play long shots against Rajasthan by hitting seven sixes. Apart from Hardik, the caretaker captain Kieran Pollard and Krunal Pandya are the players in the team who specialize in long shots and can make a difference between the two teams.

The Mumbai bowlers would like to forget the previous match and start afresh. In the last match, they did not have a single against Rajasthan’s Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson. Australian Aaron Finch (236 runs), young Devadatta Padikkal (343 runs) and AB de Villiers (324 runs) need to show more consistency. If all the RCB top-order batsmen contribute, then the opposing team may be in trouble. Chris Morris, Moeen Ali and Gurkeerat Mann can also contribute significantly in the lower middle order. But RCB team is worried about bowling department due to injury of Navdeep Saini. The situation is not clear about Saini playing in the match against Mumbai. If he does not play, in addition to Morris and Mohammed Siraj, the responsibility of Isuru Udana will also increase.
