IND vs AUS: David Warner seriously injured .. Test series away ..!?

In the second ODI against India David Warner Injured. Injured Warner left the field in order to stop the ball while fielding. While India were batting, Warner dropped a shot by Dhawan in the fourth over of the innings. The Aussie opener, who suffered a hamstring injury during the sequence, struggled to get back up. Eventually the physio, with the help of Maxwell, limped off the field. Warner was then taken from Carlo Stadium to the hospital for an X-ray.

Warner limped as he climbed into the vehicle. Commentator Gilchrist commented that it takes a very long time to recover from a grown strain. With Groin likely to take at least six weeks to recover from the strain .. as far as the Warner Test series goes.

With another match remaining in the ODI series, Warner’s injury just days before the three-T20 series and four-Test series could be considered a major blow to Australia. Warner scored a half century in the first ODI .. 83 in the second ODI. He shared partnerships with Finch for the first wicket in both matches at 156 and 142 respectively.
