Team India won the four-Test series 2-1. Australia became the first Asian team to win the Test series for the second time on home soil. It is known that the Indian team won the series 2-1 in a similar manner during the 2018-19 tour of Australia. Australia have not lost a Test at Gabba Stadium since 1988. But .. Teamindia broke up recently for that pilgrimage.
Aussie team head coach Justin Longer said Team India had taught the Kangaroos a great lesson by winning the historic Test series on Australian soil. Team India were bowled out for 328 in the final Test at Brisbane on Tuesday. With another 19 balls to spare, they won by 329/7. In the first session, young opener Shubhman Gill (8×4, 2×6 off 91: 146 balls) led the team to victory. In the final session, Rishabh Pant (89 not out: 9×4, 1×6 off 138 balls) ended the match with a sensational innings. Being a huge target .. it was the Gabba Stadium with an unbeaten record for Australia and everyone expected TeamIndia to try for a draw. But .. the Indian team played bravely .. turned everyone’s expectations upside down and achieved a historic victory.
