Baroda all-rounder Deepak Hooda Has decided to withdraw from the team’s first match. It is reported that Hooda has written a complaint to the Baroda Cricket Association against captain Krunal Pandya. Hooda has alleged that Pandya used ‘abusive language’ against him and ‘threatened to end his career’.
Hooda has written a letter to the association calling Pandya’s behavior as ‘Dadagiri’.
Hooda is reported to have left the bio-bubble on Saturday night. After this, the coach and the team are in a lot of dilemma. Hooda is the senior player of the team. These all-rounders are an important part of the team’s batting order.
Hooda wrote an email to the association- ‘I have been playing cricket for the Baroda Cricket Association for the last 11 years. I am currently selected for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. I feel infatuated, tense and under pressure.
He wrote, “For the last two-four days my captain Mr. Krunal Pandya has been using abusive language against me in front of teammates and players from other states who have come to participate in the tournament.”
Hooda further wrote, “Pandya stopped me from practice and showed my grandeur.”
Hooda has played 46 first class matches and 123 T20 matches for Baroda. He said that in such an environment he could not perform his best.
