BCCI President Saurabh Ganguly (Sourav Ganguly) Thanked the players for the success of the Indian Premier League on Wednesday, saying that it was mentally difficult to live in a bio-safe environment during the league.

The IPL ended on Tuesday with the finals in which the Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets to win the fifth title.

Ganguly tweeted, ‘I personally thank all the players of the IPL team along with the BCCI and all the officials. He made this tournament a success by staying in the bio bubble. It was mentally tough and your commitment has led Indian cricket to this point.

Due to the corona virus epidemic, the IPL was played in the UAE in October-November instead of April-May. BCCI Treasurer Arun Dhumal (Arun Kumar Dhumal) Said, ‘Congratulations for the successful conduct of the IPL under the guidance of Saurabh Ganguly and Jai Shah. The most successful IPL took place in such a challenging time. Thanks to all the cricket lovers. We missed you. Hopefully, your noise will be heard again in the field in IPL 2021.
