Australia 103/2 in Sydney Test .. Disappointment for India on the third day

India were disappointed on Saturday in the third Test against Australia in Sydney. India, who continued the first innings today with an overnight score of 96/2, were all out for 244. Australia, who started the second innings with a 94-run lead, were 103/2 at the close of play on Saturday. Australia are already leading by 197 runs. The team is likely to declare the innings after the second session on Sunday.

Fast bowler Siraj and spinner Ashwin shared the wickets for Australia, who started the second innings after India were all out. In the sixth over of the innings, Mohammad Siraj knocked down opener Pakoski (2×4 off 10:16 balls) and in the 10th over, Ashwin dismissed another opener David Warner (1×4 off 13:29 balls) as LBW. With that, Australia got into trouble with 35/2. But then .. Earlier, Rahane continued the overnight individual score with 5 runs and Pujara continued batting with 9 runs. The pair played consistently for 10 overs today .. The team split at 117. Ajinkya Rahane (1×4, 1×6 off 22:70 balls) was bowled by Pat Cummins. Hanuma Vihari (4:38) who came next was run out by Hazlewood throwing a direct throw in an attempt for a non-run. With that .. the Indian team got into trouble with 142/4.

At this stage, Pujara (5×4 off 50: 176 balls), who led India’s innings with Rishabh Pant (4×4 off 36:67 balls), scored a half-century and was immediately dismissed. From there, India lost wickets fast. Ashwin (2×4 off 10:15 balls) tried to play aggressively. Navdeep Saini (3) was caught by Mathews in Starc bowling. Bumrah (0) was also run out after that.
