Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and former RCB captain Virat Kohli have failed miserably in IPL 2022. Rohit played 11 matches and scored only 200 runs. Virat Kohli scored 216 runs in 12 matches. Kohli has a half century with an average of 19.64 and a strike rate of 111.34. Rohit has a 43 best score with an average of 18.18 and a strike rate of 125. However, all-rounder Ashwin has scored 133 runs with a half-century this season. On an average, Kohli is ahead of Rohit in terms of strike rate. Ashwin, who has played 12 matches, continues with an average of 22.17 and 140 strikes.
Rajasthan, which acquired Ashwin for Rs 5 crore in the IPL 2022 mega auction, has made good use of it in both bowling and batting. Ashwin, who has already been in the first down more than three times this season, has given priority to hitting as long as he is at the crease. Ashwin, who also became crucial in bowling, took 9 wickets with a 3/17 best. Ashwin, who played for Delhi in IPL 2021, scored just 44 runs in 13 matches and took 7 wickets.
