He played 103 T20s and scored 3120 runs including 2 centuries and 19 fifties. He scored 278 runs in 5 Test matches. He gave the team the World Cup in T20 under his captaincy. Finch played a key role in winning the 2015 ODI World Cup.
Finch holds the highest individual score in an innings in T20s. In 2018, he scored 172 runs in a match against Zimbabwe.
