4,6,6,6,4,6… Monster avatar of Liam Livingstone, 32 runs in one over

New Delhi: In the first match against Netherlands, the England cricket team brought a flood of runs. Scored a record 498 runs and made the biggest total of ODI history. In this massive total, three batsmen each scored a century. Phil Salt (122), David Malan (125) and Jos Buttler (162) may have been the top-3 scorers, but the fans sitting in the stadium were entertained by Liam Livingstone the most.

32 runs in one over

Livingstone, who came with great form from IPL, rained fours and sixes. Coming at number six, he scored 66 runs in 22 balls and broke many records, but the manner in which spinner Philip Boswain was reported in the 46th over, he will remember the Dutch bowler for life. Every ball of this over was sent by Livingstone across the boundary. After hitting a four in the first ball, he hit three consecutive sixes and then hit a four on the fourth. Then hit a six in the last ball as well.

Fifty hit in 17 balls
Liam Livingstone made his half-century in 17 balls. He missed a ball or else he would have equaled AB de Villiers’ record for the fastest fifty in ODI history. However, he became the fastest English batsman to score a half-century. Buttler scored a century in 47 balls, which was the second fastest century for England. He played an unbeaten innings of 162 runs in which 14 of the team’s 26 sixes were hit.

pile of records
Butler now has the three fastest ODI centuries for the national team, scoring hundreds in 46 balls, 47 balls and 50 balls. Salt scored 122 runs in 93 balls and Malan made 125 runs in 109 balls while Liam Livingstone made an unbeaten 66 off 22 balls. The Netherlands is playing an ODI against England for the first time outside the Cricket World Cup. Eoin Morgan was out for zero.
