There was a quarrel over the water pipe
According to police sources, Maheshgiri Gauswami and Hareshgiri Gauswami, both residents of Malshram village in Kodinar taluka, were cousins. Three months ago, when Hareshgiri was laying a pipe to draw water from one and a half of his farms, his half-neighbor, Maheshgiri, got into a scuffle. On Tuesday, Hareshgiri was on his way home with milk from his farm when Maheshgiri attacked Hareshgiri and killed him on the spot.
Murder complaint against deceased Maheshgiri
The villagers informed the police about the whole incident and a police convoy was rushed to the spot. In the murder case, Hareshgiri’s mother had lodged a murder complaint against the deceased Maheshgiri and the police had registered a case and taken further action. The whole area has been shaken following the incident.
