An accountant addicted to a porn site blew up the firm’s Rs 1 crore

An accountant of a generation in Rajkot got so caught up in a porn site that he did not know right from wrong and where he was working, he flew behind a young woman who was introduced to him through a porn site of Rs 1 crore.

Irfan Sheikh, a graphic designer originally from Ahmedabad and living in Rajkot, has lodged a complaint in Rajkot CID Crime against his firm’s accountant Tushar Sejpal, a resident of Nageshwar, a young woman named Sapna of Ghaziabad, his mother Princess Geeta and Yogesh, Rohit, Charansingh, Sushil and Fakirsinh. “Between 2019 and 2020, Tushar Sejpal, an accountant of my generation, came in contact with me through a porn site and Tushar proposed marriage after the two became friends,” he said in the complaint.

According to the complaint, after Tushar was caught in a dream trap, she along with her other accomplices started slowly withdrawing money from Tushar. In two years, he had taken Rs 85 lakh from her, while Tushar lost Rs 16 lakh for work including porn site application login and registration. In other ways, the gang then took a total of Rs 1 crore from him.

Tushar also kept track of the installments of Irfan Sheikh’s house in Rajkot. He was suspicious as the full installment was not deposited in the bank and his investigation revealed that Tushar had embezzled Rs 1 crore in his accounts. He found out that Tushar had taken this money from the firm and spent it on the young lady. So he has lodged a complaint against 10 including the accountant and the CID Crime team has launched an investigation.
