Pune Water Supply : Pune people use water carefully! Water supply stopped in Pune for two days due to ‘this’ reason

Pune Water Supply : On Punekar (Pune) It’s time to use water sparingly again. Pune Water Supply will be closed in some areas on Thursday and Friday (September 22, 23). Low pressure and late water is likely on Friday. The water supply department of the Pune Municipal Corporation has informed that the people of Pune will have to face the problem of water for urgent repair work. This year there was a lot of rain in Pune. So the city’s water problem has been solved. 

Water Supply Shutdown Area
Parvati MLR Tank Premises, Parvati HLR Tank Premises, Parvati LLR Premises and Chikhli Pumping Due to electrical/pumping repair work, water supply will be shut off throughout the day. PAT Parvati MLR tank area Thursday Peth, Budhwar Peth, Kashewadi, Quartergate area Ganj Peth, Bhawani Peth, Nana Peth, Lohia Nagar, Somwar Peth, Arun Vaidya Stadium area Ghorpade Peth will be shut off. 

Parvati HLR Tank Area : Sahkar Nagar, Padmavati, Bibvewadi, Mukundnagar some parts, Maharshinagar, Gangadham, Chintamani Nagar Part-1 & 2, Lake Town, Shivtejnagar, Upper Indiranagar, Lower Indiranagar, Shelkevasti Mahesh Society , Bibvewadi Village, Premnagar, Ambedkarnagar Dice Plot, Dholemala, Salesbury Park, Garidhar Bhavan Chowk, Thackeray Colony, Parvati Village, Bhagyodayanagar, Shivnerinagar, Mithanagar, Kumar Prithvi, Kondhwa Khurd, Saibabanagar will also not have water supply.

Parvati LLR area – Citizens have to face problem as water supply is cut off in all Petha, Dattawadi area, Rajendranagar, Lokmanya Nagar, Deccan area, Shivaji Nagar area, Swargate area.

Punekar’s water worries solved

Due to the rains in Pune district, all the dams in the district are 100 percent full. Khadakwasla Dam, which supplies water to Pune city, is 99.77 percent full. Yesterday’s rain has now solved the water worries of Pune residents. 13 out of 26 dams in Pune district are 100 percent full. Due to yesterday’s rain in Pune, the discharge of Ujni has increased again. Half of the 13 dams in Pune district are 100 percent full. Therefore, the water problem of Pune residents has been solved. But since the repair work of some tanks in the city is going on Pune Taxes, however, have to use water sparingly.
