While there was no need to evacuate anyone in the riverside areas, as a precautionary measure, temporary accommodation has been arranged in 39 schools for the residents of areas likely to be hit by water.
Areas affected by heavy rains, Sinhagad roads with big potholes, flood at Mundhe Vasti Table in Kothrud, flood in small industry drain in Kondhwa Yevlewadi, houses in Amriteshwar temple in Yerwada, water in Fasa society in Chandni Chowk. Slow traffic in the city center, huge congestion due to submergence of high bridges are the main problems. Due to the closure of the riverside road, the traffic pressure on Kelkar road and Jungli Maharaj road has increased to a great extent. Many roads in the already potholed city were flooded. Due to this, the entire transport system was disrupted.

Khadkawasla dam has released the highest amount of this season. 30,000 cusecs of water was released into Mutha river. Therefore, vigilance has been given to the villages and citizens along the river.
