There has been an increase in assaults by PMPML drivers or carriers in Pune. Two days ago, in Pimpri-Chinchwad, a youth had brutally beaten up a driver of PMPML. He had abused and severely beaten the bus because he had forced it to remove a two-wheeler coming sideways. The incident took place in broad daylight at Santoshi Mata Chowk in Nehrunagar area of Pimpri Chinchwad. PMPML bus starts running. At this time, a two-wheeler was coming across the road at Santoshi Mata Chowk. At that time the driver asked the young man to move the car aside. But this angered the young man and said, do you know who I am? That said. There was a minor argument between the two over this. The boy then directly entered the bus and beat up the driver.
