In the last few years, ‘I love…’ boards have been put up in many areas in Pune city. Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar has finally ordered to take action on these boards after taking note of the complaints received from many people regarding these boards. Hence this order has been given. These boards have been put up in Sarasbagh, Katraj, Koregaon Park, Mahamadwadi, Swargate, Warje, Aundh and Yerawada.
Vikram Kumar has been working as the administrator since the term of the General Assembly ended in March. On the very first day after the administrative rule began, he had cracked down on encroachment. Orders were given to remove encroachments in many areas of Pune. A major encroachment action was taken in the area of Dhanori, Deccan. After that, Vikram Kumar is back in action mode. This digital billboard showing the beauty of the city is defaming the area. Therefore, he has directed the building departments of all the ward offices to take action against such boards.
Usage of electricity by Pune residents for boards
There are various complaints of citizens regarding these boards. Citizens are repeatedly raising these issues at various places. The media has also aired news on him many times. Due to this, the Municipal Commissioner has asked to investigate. It has been found that all these panels have been installed without taking the mandatory permission of the concerned department. Panel Public Pune has also been found to be using tax electricity. After receiving the report, the Municipal Commissioner has asked to take action against all such boards. Additional Municipal Commissioner Kunal Khemnar has issued a written order stating that all the ward officials have been asked to submit the action report to the commissioner’s office. />Such methods have been put up by many for future investment. Names are also written on it. Existing members and aspirants have also put up such boards in their premises. But they Maharashtra State Vidyut Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) or PMC has been ordered to take action as it was installed without permission.
