Pune Independence Day 2022 : The nectar festival of independence is being celebrated across the country. It has been said by the Department of Archaeological Survey of India that free entry will be given to all the heritage sites in Pune. From today (August 5) Ticketless entry will be available for the next ten days till August 15. Along with this, many programs and schemes involving public participation will be implemented. All the heritage sites like Shaniwar Wada, Pataleshwar Caves, Aga Khan Palace, Karla-Bhaja Caves in Lonavala, Lenyadri, Lohgad and Shivneri will get free entry. Tourists come in large numbers. At the same time, every year on Independence Day and Republic Day, Shaniwar Wada is thronged. This year, there is a possibility of a huge crowd as the entry is free.
21 lakh 60 thousand houses will be hoisted with the tricolor
The “Har Ghar Tiranga” is being implemented under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. ; Regarding the activity, the planning of Pune district has been done well. Tricolor will be hoisted on 21 lakh 60 thousand houses. Due to the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, various activities will be conducted in many places in the city. If various cultural programs are organized during the activity, the art and culture here will get more light. There will be tricolor sales center in many places in Pune. Pune Collector Rajesh Deshmukh held a meeting in this regard. On this occasion Kiran Soni Gupta, Director of Western Sector Cultural Center under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of the Central Government, Pune Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Ayush Prasad was present.
