Pune Ganpati Visarjan 2022 : Supporters of Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray came face to face in Ganpati visarjan procession in Pune. During Mirnuki (Pune Ganesh Festival 2022) both the mandals maintained restraint so no untoward incident took place. So the procession did not face any problem.
Two Ganpati Mandals are facing each other at the same time on Tilak Road in Pune. A Shivraj Ganesh Mandal belonged to Ajay Bhosale, former city president of Shiv Sena and now joined the Shinde group. The other group was the local Shiv Sainiks (Shivsena) of Kasewadi area. At the same time, the youth of both the groups had signed a contract for the song. One group was holding a photo of Uddhav Thackeray and holding a rhythm while another group was holding a photo of Eknath Shinde in a louder voice. This time, they were trying to provoke in both the groups.

This year after two years Ganeshotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Various activities were conducted during the day. Many circles tried to make their mark during the immersion procession as well. The chariots were decorated with different themes. Similarly, some groups presented scenes based on the political environment. In this both these circles also participated in the procession holding the photos of their leaders. One group was pro-Shinde while the other group was pro-Uddhav Thackeray. Both the boards did not allow any untoward incident. Taking the photo of Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray in hand, they danced on the DJ, provoking each other. All circles were allowed to celebrate. However, as the second day dawned for the processions, the police have also ordered to move the processions forward at a faster pace. Since yesterday, important roads in the city were closed for diversion. It also included Tilak Road. After a continuous procession of 30 hours, the last Lord Ganesha in Pune was immersed. The Ganpati Visarjan procession was going on for the last thirty hours continuously. This year Punekars thoroughly enjoyed the immersion procession. But due to all this, many people were hindered.
