Accordingly, a large police force is deployed in the city. For that, the police will start security in many places in the city from today itself. It is estimated that at least 3,000 public Ganesha mandals in the city will be immersed along with Lord Ganesha. Ganpati immersion will be done at about 85 places on the ghat. Every year these processions continue for many hours but this year they will try to end the immersion procession as soon as possible. Therefore, major changes have been made in the traffic in Pune. 17 roads in Pune will be closed for traffic. Every year Lakshmi road, Kelkar road, Kumthekar road is the main immersion procession route. Therefore, the traffic of this route is closed. Along with this, major roads will be closed for traffic tomorrow. Pune Deputy Commissioner of Police Rahul Srirame has said that the traffic will be closed on all these roads until the immersion procession ends at night. It includes Garware College, Karve Road, Deccan Education Society Tilak Road, Congress Bhavan Manpa Road, Manpa Bhavan Parking, C. e. O. P Ground, Mangala Talkies, Hamalpada Parking Narayanapeth, Nadipatri Road, Sanjeevani Hospital, Jain Hostel BMCC Road, Apte Prashala, parking facilities have been provided during the procession.

Lakshmi Road, Shivaji Road, Bagade Road, Bajirao Road, Kumthekar Road, Ganesh Road, Guru Nanak Road, Tilak Road, Shastri Road, Jungli Maharaj Road will be closed for traffic from morning. Along with it Karve Road, Ferguson Road, Bhandarkar Road, Pune-Satara road, Solapur road, Prabhat road will be closed for traffic after 12 noon tomorrow.
