Yogi Adityanath: 3.18 crore tricolors will be hoisted in UP at Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, preparations for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ complete
Lucknow: On the occasion of Independence Day in UP, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ (har ghar tiranga) program will be conducted during which 3.18 crore tricolors will be hoisted across the state. CM Yogi Adityanath has said that the preparations for this function, which will be held between 13 and 15 August, have been completed. Yogi gave this information in a video conference organized in connection with Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi.

He said that the Uttar Pradesh government has completed its preparations for the ‘Har Ghar Tricolor’ program from 13 to 15 August in the wake of the upcoming ‘Independence Week’ from 11 to 17 August. A total of three crore 18 lakh tricolors will be hoisted in the state, out of which two crore 68 lakh tricolors will be installed in homes.

He said that at the same time, 50 lakh tricolors will be hoisted in government offices, non-government offices and other commercial establishments in the state. Yogi said that apart from this a flag song ‘Jayghosh’ has also been prepared.

The Chief Minister said that tricolor will be sent to all district headquarters by July 31 and tricolor distribution centers will also be made at every school, primary health center and Anganwadi centers in the state.

The Chief Minister said that the process of procurement of two crore flags by the cottage, small and medium industries department of the state is being done through the JEM portal. At the same time, one crore 18 lakh tricolors are being made in the state through self help groups, NGOs and private sewing centers etc.
