Varsha Raut: After 9 hours of long questioning, Varsha Raut left the ED office, 'answered all the questions'

Mumbai: In the money laundering case related to Patra Chawl scam and irregularities in transactions, the ED recorded the statement of Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha Raut. Varsha Raut came out of the ED office outside the 9-hour long interrogation. As soon as Varsha came out of the ED office, he said that he answered all the questions asked. He said that he is with Uddhav Thackeray.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha Raut was questioned by the ED for 9 hours. Coming out of the ED office, Varsha Raut said, “All the questions I was asked, I was answered. We are in Shiv Sena and Uddhav is with Thackeray.

Varsha Raut had reached at 10.40 in the morning
The ED had issued summons to Varsha Raut earlier this week. He was called to the ED office on Saturday. Varsha Raut had reached the ED office at Ballard Estate in South Mumbai at 10.40 am.

Investigation of land scam of Rs 1034 crore
During this, a large number of policemen were deployed outside the ED office. The ED is probing the Rs 1034-crore land scam related to the redevelopment of Patra Chawl in Mumbai’s Goregaon area. Sanjay Raut was arrested in this case on August 1. He was sent to judicial custody till August 8.
