Shinde has hidden most of the leaves
Shinde, sitting in a hotel in Guwahati, has claimed in a conversation with media organizations that he has 46 MLAs at present, which will increase further. He claims that Shiv Sena has more than 37 MLAs with him, which is enough to save him from the hurt of the anti-defection law. Shiv Sena has a total of 55 MLAs, of which 37 bills are needed to touch the two-thirds figure so that the break in the party is not seen by the anti-defection law. Speaking to the media, Shinde said, ‘Our party is a party with the Hindutva ideology of Balasaheb. We are taking forward his ideology. Interestingly, he has also vehemently rejected the claim of being in touch with the BJP. When asked if he was in touch with former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he said, “I am only with my MLAs.”
When will the layers of ambitions open?
On Wednesday, when the initial news of Eknath Shinde’s rebellion came, it was said that he is not against Shiv Sena or Uddhav Thackeray but against Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). The reason for this is that the alleged secular politics of Congress-NCP is against the core Hindutva ideology of Balasaheb. Then there were reports that Shinde had put a condition in talks with Uddhav Thackeray that Shiv Sena should come out of Mahavikas Aghadi and form the government with BJP again. So has Shinde got BJP’s consent on the proposal to return to the government with Shiv Sena? After all, how could you have guessed it? On one hand BJP is almost missing and on the other side Shinde is saying that he is not in touch with BJP at all. Shinde may not have become a rebel just to enjoy the rebellion. He certainly has ambitions of his own. Take a few hours or a few days, all the layers have to be exposed. Then everyone will know that where are the roots of the height with which Shinde is shouting the rebellion.
