Set us free, don’t let us live in cages….Akhilesh meets Saras friend Arif again, attacks Yogi

Lucknow: Mohammad Arif, a resident of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh, has met SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. Arif had come into limelight for his friendship with Saras in the past. Akhilesh has also shared the meeting with Arif with his Twitter account. Through poetry, he has urged the Uttar Pradesh government to free the stork, which is kept in the zoo of Kanpur. Arif is also wearing a green T-shirt, on which a picture of a stork is made and it is written – Set me free means set me free.

In fact, Arif, a resident of Amethi, had found a stork in an injured state. He saved her life, after which he became friends with Parinde. The friendship of Arif and Saras was creating a lot of buzz in the state. A few days later, SP chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav reached to meet Saras and Arif. He also shared the pictures of this meeting on his social media account. A few days later, the Forest Department team took the stork from Arif into their custody.

The forest department said that no one can keep the state bird stork in its captivity. Not only this, cases were also registered against Arif, which was condemned by all the opposition including Akhilesh Yadav. Akhilesh even said that whoever I go to meet, the government will snatch everything from him. The stork was first kept in Rae Bareli’s bird sanctuary, from where the news of its disappearance also came. Later the stork has been traced and preserved in the zoo of Kanpur.

Arif and Akhilesh Yadav are campaigning to free the stork. In this sequence, Arif has met Akhilesh on Monday. Where Arif has written a special message on the t-shirt to free the stork. On the other hand, by sharing this picture, Akhilesh has demanded the freedom of the stork through poetry. Akhilesh has written- ‘It is from the rulers, just say this to the birds / free us, we should not live in cages.’
