After the division of the departments on Sunday, Maharashtra’s Cultural Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said that from now on on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, officers and employees in all government offices in Maharashtra will start their talk on the phone with Vande Mataram. It will be mandatory to say Vande Mataram instead of Hello. He said that soon an official order will also be issued in this regard.

‘It is necessary to abandon the foreign word’
Mungantiwar said that hello is a foreign word. In this case it is necessary to abandon it. He stressed that Vande Mataram is not just a word but the sentiment of every Indian. In such a situation, there should be no hesitation in speaking it.
