Mumbai: After being released from jail, Amravati MP Navneet Rana is currently undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. She was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. Till now it was being expected that she might be discharged from the hospital today. However, now it is getting information through sources that even today he may have to stay in the hospital under the supervision of doctors. Navneet Rana is troubled by the complaint of spondylitis. Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana were arrested by Mumbai Police amidst preparations to read Hanuman Chalisa at Matoshree, the house of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. During that time many cases were registered against him. After which he was sent to judicial custody. Navneet Rana started complaining of spondylitis during his stay in judicial custody. He has been admitted to the hospital yesterday. Meanwhile, he was also taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai for treatment.

Rana couple will not make such mistake again
Navneet Rana and her husband were granted bail by the court on Wednesday. This bail has been granted by the Sessions Court with several conditions. Before coming to court on Wednesday, Navneet Rana was also taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai as his health deteriorated in jail. The Sessions Court has said that the Rana couple will not commit such a crime again. Further, they shall not attempt to tamper with or coerce the evidence and witnesses. Not only this, Rana couple will not make any kind of statement on this subject in any press conference, media or social media. If any of these conditions are violated, his bail will be cancelled.

‘Sedition’ case against Rana couple wrong!
While granting bail to Amravati MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana, the Mumbai Sessions Court has made a very important remark. The court said that the sedition section imposed on him is wrong. While delivering the verdict on Wednesday, the court had said that the use of section 124(A) in this case is wrong. A day after which the Rana couple came out of jail on Thursday. After this decision of the court, fingers have started being raised again on the state government. Questions can be raised not only on the government but also the Mumbai Police. Even before this, the state’s main opposition party BJP has fiercely targeted the functioning of the Mumbai Police in the late actor Sushant Singh death case. It is often alleged by the BJP that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government is misusing the police for its own benefit.

What did the court say in its order?
1) A person cannot be accused under section 124A of the IPC for commenting on the policies of the government and administration.

2) Commenting on the government but using harsh words without encouraging any violence cannot be considered punishable.

3) The court said that a citizen has every right to write and speak against the government or administration, although he should not indulge in any violent activity.

4) The court said that in this case, even if the accused has violated the freedom of expression, only derogatory and objectionable words cannot be used under section 124(A). This section can be used only when there is an attempt to disturb peace by means of violent activity by words in writing or spoken.
