Mumbai: A new statement of Maulana Arshad Madani has come to the fore in the convention of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. He said that there were some communal forces in the Congress too, which did great harm to the country.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Syed Arshad Madani said, the Congress party in its manifesto had talked about shutting down the sectarian Jamaat Bajrang Dal. If he had taken this decision 70 years ago, the country would not have been ruined.

‘Congress is correcting its mistake’

Arshad Madani said, ‘When he said this, there was hue and cry that the Congress made a mistake by including it in its manifesto. I understood that it was not my mistake but my mistake that was being rectified. He says that Congress is rectifying its 70 years old mistake.

Earlier, Arshad Madani had said that all those who are talking about making the country a Hindu Rashtra are traitors. He said that if those who talk about creating a Hindu country are not traitors, then those who demand a Muslim country are also not traitors.
