Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has made a big announcement. The Shinde-Fadnavis government has now decided to rent the land of Maharashtra farmers. For this, the government will also pay a hefty amount to the farmers. The government will take this land from farmers for setting up solar panels. Under this scheme, farmers will be given Rs 75 thousand per acre. Devendra Fadnavis said this in a program of Paani Foundation. In fact, Fadnavis was talking about the loss of soil quality due to excessive use of chemical-rich fertilizers. He said that Maharashtra and India are slowly becoming the capital of cancer. There has been an increase in cancer cases. So now we have to adopt the methods of natural farming again. Following the appeal of the Prime Minister, poison-free farming has started. A plan has been prepared for this. About Rs.3000 crore will be spent. This will definitely increase the productivity of your farming.

In the first economic budget of the Shinde-Fadnavis government, provision has been made for several schemes for the farmers. The government has started the Namo Kisan scheme. Along with the Centre, the state government will also deposit Rs 6,000 in the farmers’ account. Also, there is no need to pay insurance amount. One thousand crore rupees have been kept safe by the government to provide sowing machines and other things to the farmers. All farmers will benefit from this. Fadnavis said that collective farming is a great option. Due to collective farming, the ability to use new things has been created.

12 hours power promise
The state government has planned to provide 12-hour power supply to the farmers. All the agriculture feeders will be run on solar panels. With this work, electricity will be supplied to the farmers for 12 hours. This work will start from this year. Apart from the government lands, the lands in which there is not much yield. The government is ready to take such lands on lease for 30 years. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the owner of the farm will remain the farmer and the annual rent of Rs 75,000 will also come. Not only this, it will also be increased by 2 percent every year.
