The incident of 23 November 2019 is recorded in the history of Maharashtra when Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were sworn in as CM and Deputy CM after reaching Raj Bhavan early in the morning. This development of Maharashtra politics had created a sensation in the whole country. However, this government fell after three days. Now Devendra Fadnavis has reacted for the first time on that incident.
‘It would have been better if it didn’t happen’In a discussion with a TV channel, Devendra Fadnavis said, ‘I always feel guilty about this and feel that it would have been better if it was not so. I know what happened at that time and who did it…I will write a book on it soon.’ Clarifying his decision, Fadnavis said that Shiv Sena had betrayed him. After this, he formed the government with Ajit Pawar to teach him a tit-for-tat lesson. Fadnavis said, “The government with Ajit Pawar was formed out of anger arising out of being cheated. We were stabbed in the back so we thought we should be taught a tit-for-tat lesson.
