Taya Jaswinder Singh and Tai Lakhwinder Kaur of Harnaaz Sandhu in village Kohali told that they had never imagined that one day the name of village Kohali of Batala would be known in the whole world. He says that Harnaaz is a very sweet natured daughter.

He said that he cannot express his happiness in words. Harnaaz likes rural customs. It’s all a dream for them. On Monday, he spoke to Harnaaz’s mother in Chandigarh and she congratulated him. Taya Jaswinder Singh told that usually he does not eat cakes, but six months ago when Harnaz came to Kohali village, Harnaaz had gone by feeding him cake with his own hands.
Another relative of Harnaz, Sukhbir Singh resident of village Kohali said that he is proud that his little girl child has achieved world-class status by rising from a rural family. Regarding the religious side, Sukhbir Singh told that when Harnaz’s grandfather Darshan Singh Sandhu died, a large number of sangat had gathered at the Gurudwara Sahib of the village at the time of his bhog. Then Harnaaz sang a Shabad of Gurbani with great sweetness and confidence at a young age. It was then that he recognized Harnaaz’s self-confidence and art.
